St Francis Xavier is a vibrant learning environment, catering for students in a co-educational setting from 3 Year Old Kindergarten – Year 6. The school is seeking an inspiring Music Teacher, committed to fostering a love of music, enhancing student engagement and improving outcomes for all students.
The school invites suitable applicants to apply for a full time Music Teaching position commencing Term 3 2025.
Selection Criteria
Has experience teaching Music in a school and able to provide instrumental lessons to individual students. Display highly proficient communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with peers, students and families. Is an exceptional teacher, who is passionate about the Arts learning area. Possesses knowledge and understanding of the SCSA Arts Curriculum. Is able to further develop a strong Arts Program and promote both the visual and performing arts, and liturgical music within the school and community. Has the ability to confidently conduct singing, choir and musical presentations An ability to authentically nurture positive and respectful relationships with students, staff and families. Display a capacity and willingness to be a proactive member of a professional learning community and work collaboratively with all staff. Demonstrate a high level of expertise in integrating digital technologies to enrich teaching and learning experiences.
Qualifications Required
Relevant four year tertiary qualification Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or willing to work towards) TRBWA registration The ability to play a musical instrument would be highly desirableWorking with Children Check In addition to your cover letter and CV, please include the names and contact numbers of three referees.
