The Role
- Position based in the Kindy room
- Create a fun, interactive and stimulating learning environment with the EYLF in mind
- Mentor the team in your room and work alongside another room leader
- Ensure the health and safety of children
- Create and maintain meaningful relationships with the parents and families, dealing with any queries or issues they have.
Role Requirements
- Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Prior experience mentoring a team
- Extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS frameworks to support with programming and planning for children's interest and development
- Effective communication skills in order to collaborate with the team, families and community
- Full working rights in Australia & Valid WWCC
About the Centre
This is a 100 place centre that is yet to be assessed. This means you will have the opportunity to really put your educational stamp on the service with the support of an experienced support team, especially your Centre Manager. It is easily accessible via bus or car and it is surrounded by local shopping centres and unique local eateries. The centre is designed to ensure children feel at home and most importantly safe and confident. The layout includes replicas of true home life as well as a miniature soccer field, water play stations and bike tracks. The possibilities are truly endless!
