We’re on the lookout for a Hybrid Business Analyst & Scrum Master to help drive product delivery across our two fast-growing platforms: a digital marketplace and a publishing platform.
This is a unique opportunity to work across two distinct yet complementary products, shaping the future of both commerce and content.
About the Role As a hybrid BA/Scrum Master, you’ll wear two important hats:
Business Analyst – Understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate ideas into clear, actionable features.
Scrum Master – Coach and guide agile teams to deliver value iteratively and effectively.
You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to help deliver innovative solutions.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
Engage with stakeholders to capture business needs for both the marketplace and publishing platform.
Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and feature specs.
Analyse user behaviour and platform performance to inform product decisions.
Work with Product Owners to maintain healthy backlogs and prioritize value delivery.
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retros, reviews).
Coach teams on agile principles and help remove blockers.
Track sprint goals, team velocity, and delivery timelines.
Promote continuous improvement across both product teams.
What You Bring
3+ years in a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or hybrid product delivery role.
Hands-on experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
Ability to work across multiple teams and juggle competing priorities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar.
A natural problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is a plus.
Salary : $145K+Super
Office Location: North Sydney
Environment : Hybrid (3 days in office)
