About The Role
Working at Bridgestone Australia, you will deliver a superior level of service to our customers whilst maintaining the highest standard of workplace health & safety.
Your daily duties include, but are not limited to:
- General mechanical repairs
- Servicing
- Delivering diagnosis of vehicles via video reporting to customers
- Diagnosis of engine management
- Brakes and suspension on passenger, light commercial and 4WD vehicles
- Other automotive repairs
What we are looking for
You will be professional and reliable with an expansive knowledge of a variety of vehicles. Your ability to effectively self-manage your time and prioritise multiple responsibilities is essential. A keen eye for detail and pride in your work coupled with good communication skills and a friendly disposition are crucial.
To be successful in this role, we require:
- A valid Trade Qualification/Certification and drivers licence
- A commitment to safety, with the ability to comply with HSE policies and procedures
- Well presented, punctual and responsible
- Wheel aligning experience is desirable
- Sound customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and work independently
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing)
- Completion of a National Police Check (please note that having disclosable outcomes does not automatically disqualify candidates as we encourage open conversations about outcomes)
