Your Role
Calling all technicians who have a keen interest in electrical manufacturing.
Do you have a solid understanding of transformers, switchboards, and electrical systems? We want to hear from you! We’re looking for a dynamic, personable professional who can connect with customers and provide them with product solutions.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a driven, customer-focused individual. We’re seeking someone who brings both technical knowledge and a proactive approach to delivering outstanding results.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Engage confidently with customers, offering expert advice and accurate pricing
  • Identify and maximize sales opportunities to drive business growth
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, plans and diagrams to understand customer requirements
  • Estimate the raw materials and labour to manufacture our products. Prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Maintain organised estimates and quotations in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Develop technical specifications, datasheets and operating manuals for new products and equipment
IS THIS YOU?
Are you an organised and proactive electrical sales expert with a passion for problem-solving and hands-on technical work.
Your strong communication skills will help you confidently engage with customers while navigating technical components such as transformers, DC systems, filters, inductors, and reactors.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on providing top-tier support to clients and industry partners
  • Strong understanding of cost estimation, profit
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to stay across evolving industry trends and developments
  • Experience with switchboards and a natural aptitude for identifying and interpreting electrical parts and drawings
The following qualifications are highly regarded:
  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
  • At least three-years of relevant experience in the electrical equipment manufacturing sector
  • Experience in estimating for switchboards and transformers
  • A current driver’s licence
