Purpose:
LMG is Australasia’s biggest loan aggregator, supporting and advocating for over 7,000 brokers, and their clients, across Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. Brokers aggregating with LMG operate under the Loan Market Brand or bring their own brand.
The Equipment Finance Associate role will convert referral applications for clients of LMG Asset and its related entities in a fast, efficient and accurate manner whilst maintaining elite customer service and communication.
Activity:
Service Delivery:
- Responding to customer inquiries in a fast and efficient manner
- Speaking to customers over the phone to find out their needs and requirements
- Reviewing credit applications submitted to us for creditworthiness
- Accurately and efficiently assess credit applications we receive and determine: The most appropriate lender suitable to the client's needs and requirements; or The lender selected by the partner is suitable based on the application received
- Sell the services of LMG Asset Finance to its clients, including finance and insurance products, within the set regulatory guidelines
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times with all clients, lenders, insurers, and colleagues.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times and keep partners and clients up to date at every turn
- Accessing lender systems to: Submit and/or update applications for credit on behalf of the client, Upload application supporting documents, Check for updates on the approval status of submitted applications, Generate loan contracts, Submit loan contracts for settlement or Check for updates on the status of contracts which have been sent for settlement
- Contacting vendors to arrange invoices where required
- Provide general advice to clients in relation to insurance products they may qualify for
- Generate loan contracts
- Achieve required KPI’s for individual daily productivity
- Any other responsibilities in line with the level of the position as assigned by the Supervisor and/or the Company.
- Be proactive in work chats to assist in staff questions and scenarios
Risk:
- Ensure all lender and insurer policies and guidelines are followed at all times
- Reviewing Anti-money Laundering compliance documents for accuracy and possible fraud, including Certified ID, in line with lender, ASIC, and AML/CTF guidelines
- Reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure all work practices are conducted in accordance with all finance compliance requirements
- Identify and report instances of non-compliance appropriately.
- Understand and maintain compliance with the National Consumer Credit Protection Act at all times
Efficiency:
- Check for updates on the status of contracts which have been sent for settlement
- Contacting the client and/or partner to provide updates on the settlement process
- Accurately input client data into Salesforce and any other system you operate
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of products and policies for all lenders and insurers that LMG Asset Finance is accredited
- Ensure all work is completed in a fast, efficient, and accurate manner
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the role
- Follow all reasonable management directions
Experience:
12+ months experience in commercial or asset finance
Qualifications & Certifications:
A National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the company will be required by LMG before the successful applicant can commence in this position, and is to be maintained by the employee.
