The Opportunity
We are seeking qualified and experienced Electricians to join our dynamic and expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, supporting the implementation of new projects, and contributing to continuous improvement across our operations.
Both day and afternoon shifts are available, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out troubleshooting to restore operations safely and efficiently.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems, including wiring, control panels, and automation components.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support process improvements and equipment upgrades.
- Assist with shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and project work as required.
What we are looking for
- South Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Experience in the food industry (Desirable)
- Knowledge of MEX or an equivalent maintenance based programs
- Ability to trouble shoot and work proactively as part of a team
- Proven experience in reactive and preventative maintenance
- Sound experience in fault finding and fast breakdown response.
- PLC experience would be highly favourable
- Understanding of Lean Principles
