The Opportunity:

Join our team in Welshpool as a Technical Support Representative.

You will be involved with service provision, customer relationship management, operational excellence and continuous improvement as part of the Technical Support Team.

By providing technical assistance to Komatsu customers, you will assist with improving technology and maximise equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the Technical Lead for all mining class excavator issues and information in the Western Region
  • Support branches and site representatives for trouble shooting / issue solving on the mining class excavator machines to keep high system and machine availability
  • Collect, analyse and visualize machine condition data (Komtrax-Plus, data logger) using ICT tool
  • Support new commissioning testing
  • Support Technical Manager for continuous improvement or any other projects
  • Provide reports and TSI submission to assist in factory resolution for any technical issues

Role Located: Welshpool, WA(with regular travel to site)

What we are looking for:

  • Hold an applicable recognized and current Trade Certificate
  • Proven experience in a highly technical role
  • Current Driver's License
  • An understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management and component life cycle management
  • Ability to analyse/troubleshoot complicated hydraulic, mechanical and electrical technical problems and recommend solutions
