About Our Department
Part of the Allied Health and Clinical Services Directorate, we provide occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech pathology services to patients of the Women’s, encompassing the clinical streams of Women’s Health and Neonatal care.
About The Role
As a Physiotherapist in the Women’s Health team you will provide safe specialised physiotherapy treatment to our inpatient and outpatient population, with a focus on post-operative, continence and pelvic floor, and musculoskeletal issues. A day may see you hold an outpatient antepartum casemix, an inpatient post operative ward, and a telehealth based clinic - it is a varied and dynamic position for clinicians who are passionate about women's health across the lifespan and who thrive with a challenge.

About You
You will be someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who is committed to providing excellence in patient care.
You’ll Bring With You
- A relevant degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA
- An interest or passion for physiotherapy and women’s health
- Demonstrated performance excellence in women’s health or public health setting, that shows an understanding of the specific needs of this patient population
- Postgraduate qualifications in Physiotherapy, specifically a Specialist Certificate in Physiotherapy Women’s Health or equivalent highly desireable
- Interest or experience in the clinical management of patients with continence issues, pelvic floor dysfunction and pregnancy-related musculoskeletal disorders
