About The Role

This is a 6-month part-time opportunity in an organisation that is committed to creating a better world for all. You may have experience as an EA/PA, or corporate administrative experience, and you love people. You enjoy contributing and serving is an extension of who you are. You understand your Executive's working style and expectations and you remember the small things! You take initiative and can anticipate the needs of your manager or team before they are aware of them! You are resourceful, adaptable and your communication skills, both verbal and written, are second to none.

Reporting to the CEO, this position is responsible for providing proactive, efficient and professional administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and Executive team with a high level of competence, confidentiality, maturity and professionalism. Your days will be varied with tasks including preparing reports, managing appointments, communicating with various stakeholders and coordinating events.

Skills and Experiences:

About you?

  • Aligned to the Vision and Mission of Baptist World Aid
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in particular the ability to produce concise, high quality executive minutes and reports autonomously
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, employ initiative and exercise discretion and a high level of cofidentiality
  • Excellent organisational, planning and multi tasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; with the ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders


Desirable Knowledge Skills And Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, communications/PR or similar areas
  • Experience in Not-for-profits or similar organisations
  • Three or more years working in an Executive Assistant role or in a similar senior administrative position.
