- 12 months CONTRACT with potential extension
- Hybrid working arrangement ( 3 days a week on-site in Melbourne CBD)
- Daily rate: $900 (inc SUPER)
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Lead the discovery and analysis of user access and support roles across a portfolio of ~400 applications.
- Engage with application owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders to assess and document current RBAC structures.
- Identify and recommend required roles per application stream (e.g., admin, developer, support roles).
- Collaborate with teams to determine appropriate access levels, ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- Conduct workshops and interviews with senior stakeholders to validate access needs and role assignments.
- Support the rationalization of legacy systems and the transition to modern platforms like SAP.
- Prepare documentation including access matrices, role definitions, and business requirements for RBAC enhancements.
- Work closely with identity and access management (IAM) teams to support the implementation of access controls.
- Proven experience in Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and enterprise access governance projects.
- Background in utilities , infrastructure, or a similarly complex regulated industry .
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, including legacy systems and SAP .
- Ability to independently engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior business and IT leaders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Consulting mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
- Familiarity with IAM tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
