About the Role:
This is a Permanent Part Time position at 45.6 per fortnight within the Occupational Therapy Department,
You will be providing clinical leadership across RCH occupational therapy and driving a culture of curiosity, quality improvement and research.
Classification for this position will range from Grade 4 Year 1 to Grade 4 Year 4, VG3-VG6 (base salary $126,079 to $138,928 per annum, plus superannuation and higher qualification allowance).
What you’ll achieve:
- Facilitating others in the delivery of evidence based occupational therapy and translation of research into clinical practice
- Delivery of quality improvement and research initiatives
- Generating research outputs, inlcuding grant funding applications, conference presnetations and publications
- Strong collaborations with occupational therapists, patients and families, other RCH staff and external stakeholders

About Occupational Therapy Department:
The Occupational Therapy department is within the Division of Ambulatory Services. We provide inpatient and outpatient services for infants, children, adolescents with a wide range of medical conditions. Our inpatient services include General Medicine, Surgical, Trauma, Neurosciences, Neonates, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Oncology, and Respiratory. Outpatient services include specialist assessment clinics (autism and developmental), specialist tertiary clinics for management of neurological/ neurodevelopmental and/or musculoskeletal conditions. Our team works closely with families, carers, community services and other health care professionals to ensure the best occupational therapy outcomes for our patients.

- Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
- Valid Working with Children Check
