The Community Engagement Librarian - Creative technologies is primarily responsible for developing and implementing programs and activities that foster community engagement in the area of creative technologies, including video games and board games. This role is crucial in building strong community partnerships and enhancing our various programs across the Community Learning and Service Centres sites.
What you’ll be working on:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate lifelong learning programs and outreach projects.
- Align programming with strategic goals and provide specialist advice to senior leadership.
- Promote library services and ensure high-quality customer service.
- Undertake collection management and operational duties.
- Perform other duties as directed that are within the skills, knowledge, and expectations of the position.
- Monitor and address daily operational, OHS, and facility-related issues.
- Use current and new technologies to enhance delivery of services.
- Act as Senior on Duty or supervise staff as required.
What you need to succeed:
- Tertiary qualifications in information management or related discipline, or relevant work experience.
- Skills and or experience in organising activities and events within the field of creative technologies.
- High-level computer skills and interest in relevant technologies.
- Strong communication, customer focus, and problem-solving abilities.
