We're seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our small and supportive team. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing a range of food items to our high standards.
Maintaining a clean and organised commercial kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meals.
Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve daily goals.
Food Safety Requirement:
A strong understanding of food safety is essential for this role. Successful candidates will be required to complete basic food safety and allergy online modules on commencement date (unless you already hold valid certificates).
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) framework is highly desirable.
Operational Hours:
This role requires flexibility as our operational hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 7 days a week. Specific shifts will be rostered.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:A current Police Record Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
