All our modular buildings are designed and built to the very highest standards with a true focus on quality.We are seeking a Quality Control Officer / Leading Hand to to join our team in Mulwala, NSW. The position is full-time and based out of our head office in Mulwala with an employer who values their team and has solution driven mindset. You will need to be a confident, detail-oriented individual ready to thrive in a busy setting.
Qualifications
Trade qualification in CarpentryConstruction Induction Card (White card)Current Drivers Licence
Skills Required
Trade qualified carpenter with 4 years experience in the building industryAdvanced communication skills, both face to face and writtenPrior history in a quality control position would be an advantagePrior history in a leading hand role would be an advantageProficient knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including framing, lock up, fix, cladding & decking work highly regardedPhysically fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the roleComprehensive knowledge of building methods, processes, and materialsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent numeracy skillsProven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectivelyAbility to follow and drive for procedure improvements & efficienciesA positive and solution driven mindsetStrong work ethic and the willingness to help others and work within a teamPersonal pride in the quality of your work and strong attention to detailConfidence to work independentlyAbility to meet required deadlines
Responsibilities
Complete all quality inspections in line with our strict quality control program.Be the go to person for all carpenters, apprentices, and sub-contractors.Ensure all projects at our Bendigo facility are completed within set timelines, to the highest standard and within budget.Lead and grow team members through ongoing mentoring, training and development.Develop and build strong relationships with all staff, suppliers and sub contractors.Ensure continual compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and all Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
