Note that this role requires a high degree of mobility as training may at times have to be delivered off-campus and in other regions.ACE was founded in 2001 to provide heavy machinery and construction training to customers in Gippsland, Victoria. Over the years, we have expanded our offering to include nationally recognised training and licensing accredited by VicRoads and ASQA, which we now offer across our four campuses in Sale, Traralgon, Bendigo, and Ballarat.

We have a great culture and are looking for experienced and professional High-Risk Work (WorkSafe Individual Assessors) Trainers and Assessors to join our team.
We are on the lookout for the "trifecta" of skilled and experienced Trainer/ Assessors, to facilitate Dogging, Rigging (Basic), and Crane specialisms, who can teach and assess against the following topics:

The Role:
The position is full-time however, we are open to discussion regarding a roster that suits you. We have a range of days available for teaching between 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend work may also be available.

Requirements
Key responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meet ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulations (i.e. Conditions of authorisation for Individual Assessors )Supervise students' behaviours and provide engaging and motivating trainingMaintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operationTravel may be required to deliver training off-sitePerform other general duties as required
Essential criteria:
Cert IV TAE (plus upgrade units if required)Possess a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL)Demonstrated Lifting Operations experience within the construction/ civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectorsBe accredited by WorkSafe as an Individual Assessor (or ability to gain accreditation, if applicable)Be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Check Card and a Police CheckYou will need to be an Australian ResidentMust hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
