About The Role
Operating within the Research Stewardship Unit and more broadly, Research Operations, the Senior Manager, Research Stewardship is responsible for and ensures that:
research undertaken by or through the University demonstrates best practice in relation to research ethics (i.e., human and animal), research integrity, research governance (i.e., clinical trials), and research compliance (i.e., national security and institutional biosafety); the University is equipped to meet its research ethics, integrity, governance, and compliance requirements through the development of sound policies, guidelines and procedures; and the University promotes a positive and responsible research culture.

What We Offer
The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.Total remuneration valued to $155,781 - $166,226 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $131,673 - $140,601 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A further 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025.17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.As an ACU staff member, you will have access to generous benefits which include but are not limited to: flexible work, study leave, a variety of leave provisions, and salary packaging.
