We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Medicare Mental Health Centre in Kingaroy. Reporting to the Clinical Lead, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to the South Burnett community.
As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you’ll:

On a day-to-day basis you will:
Conduct clinical assessments and collaborate on case formulations and treatment plans for individuals with moderate, severe, and complex mental health difficulties.Perform risk assessments and develop comprehensive risk management plans.Deliver personalised, evidence-based psychological interventions.Provide client-centered care, involving family and significant others as appropriate.Offer clinical supervision and line management oversight to 3-6 staff, and provide onsite supervision to students.
About you:
We seek a professional, innovative, and compassionate clinician who excels in a multi-disciplinary team setting and enjoys collaborating with various stakeholders in the provision of health, mental health, and psychosocial services. Leadership experience is highly valued.
We’re also looking for:
Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, or a related clinical discipline in mental health.Registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., AHPRA or AASW).Experience in mental health with strong assessment and intervention skillsCapacity to manage complex presentations and crisis situationsCollaborative approach and excellent communication skills

Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or the ability to obtain one. Undergo a current and satisfactory Police Check.
