ConsultANZ is looking for a Contract Administrator to join our client's team in Sydney. Our client has a proven history of delivering high-profile infrastructure projects for both major private companies and government entities. Their expertise spans across critical sectors, including tunneling, bridges, roads, slope stabilization, and more.Key Responsibilities: As part of a focused and results-driven team, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing relationships with subcontractors and overseeing contract performance.
- Reviewing, certifying, and processing payment claims and variations.
- Developing, evaluating, and negotiating contract changes, project schedules, and service agreements.
- Ensuring full compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to ensure adherence to contract terms.
- Identifying and escalating potential risks or issues to senior management.
- Providing commercial support and reporting on contractual matters.
- Advising senior management on critical issues and assisting with the implementation of decisions.
- Offering support to the procurement manager as needed.
- Assessing subcontractor KPIs, reviewing reports, and preparing quarterly performance evaluations.
- Managing contract inquiries and resolving project-related disputes.
- Preparing and reviewing reports and submissions relating to company operations.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- 2-4+ years of experience in contract administration or a comparable role.
- Familiarity with administrative processes and contract management procedures.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with Xero and Procore is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of contract analysis and risk management.
- Competitive salary: $70k - $90k base + super (negotiable based on experience).
