Emergency Department is supported by surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics & gynaecology, psychiatric, anaesthetic and ICU services. They are a regional trauma centre and are well supported by Adult Retrieval Victoria.The hospital are currently staffed by 4 full-time FACEMs and have regular FACEM locums who provide additional clinical oversight. We are accredited for 6 months Advanced Training with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, including paediatric log-book.

- The Base Hospital provides public hospital services on behalf of the Victorian Government to the Community of Mildura and the Sunraysia District.The hospital provides a range of Acute Services including Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, General Medicine and Surgery, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Dialysis, Mental Health (Inpatient and community services) and a range of Ambulatory Services
The population of the town and surrounding district (Sunraysia) is approximately 80,000.
