Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage purchase orders with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, resolve discrepancies, and build strong relationships
- Monitor supplier pricing and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
- Track outstanding orders and overdue deliveries using Microsoft Navision
- Collaborate across departments to support inventory optimisation
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier interactions
- Assist with supplier onboarding and other administrative tasks
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure all activities align with company safety, compliance, and sustainability standards
- Deliver prompt, professional service to internal and external stakeholders
- Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management (entry-level or similar)
- Familiarity with inventory systems – experience with Microsoft Navision is a bonus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and a structured, organised approach
- Professional phone manner and service-focused mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A team player who acts with integrity, respect, and accountability
