About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive Purchasing/Customer service Officer to join a dynamic and values-driven team based out of Ravenhall VIC
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage purchase orders with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, resolve discrepancies, and build strong relationships
  • Monitor supplier pricing and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
  • Track outstanding orders and overdue deliveries using Microsoft Navision
  • Collaborate across departments to support inventory optimisation
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier interactions
  • Assist with supplier onboarding and other administrative tasks
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Ensure all activities align with company safety, compliance, and sustainability standards
  • Deliver prompt, professional service to internal and external stakeholders
About You:
  • Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management (entry-level or similar)
  • Familiarity with inventory systems – experience with Microsoft Navision is a bonus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail and a structured, organised approach
  • Professional phone manner and service-focused mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A team player who acts with integrity, respect, and accountability
  • Eager to learn, adaptable to change, and comfortable taking initiative
  • Alignment with company values and a genuine interest in the construction industry
