What you’ll be doing

• Producing high-quality, engaging journalism across digital and print platforms
• Building strong relationships with local communities and sources
• Generating original, impactful story ideas that resonate with diverse audiences
• Collaborating with editors and fellow journalists on breaking news and long-form features
• Contributing to a positive newsroom culture built on collaboration and innovation

Must-haves

• 3+ years’ journalism experience
• 2+ years’ newsroom experience
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Warrnambool region
• Current driver’s licence

Nice to have

• Experience with digital journalism tools and multimedia production
• Background in regional or community reporting
