Are you passionate about helping people and getting results? We are seeking an experienced & dedicated Personal Trainer/Gym Instructor with flexibility and availability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends. A Certificate IV in Fitness & current registration with a governing Fitness Body (e.g. AusActive), along with working experience within a leisure facility is preferred. Additional qualifications in Les Mills programs and/or specialised Group Fitness Instruction e.g. Pilates, Yoga, Boxing is also highly valued.
As our ideal candidate, you will have demonstrated experience in gym operations, personal training, specialised group training and group fitness instruction and be extremely motivated, proactive and passionate about health and fitness.
This role involves supervising gym patrons, developing programs and conducting fitness assessments and ensuring that all aspects of the facility are well presented and maintained. If you hold a Certificate IV in Fitness, then this role will also be required to facilitate and manage a personal training portfolio and bootcamps.
There will be ad hoc times where you may be required to facilitate and instruct group fitness classes, therefore experience and confidence in delivering these types of sessions would be advantageous.
Working closely with people is a critical part of the role; you will utilise your excellent communication skills and your ability to build rapport with customers on a daily basis.

Relevant industry experience and qualifications (Certificate III in Fitness essential, Certificate IV in Fitness preferred).Knowledge of safe and effective exercise techniques, along with the skills and equipment required to develop fitness programs that align with clients’ goals and abilitiesHighly motivated with the proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic approach.Hold a current First Aid, CPR certificate and Working with Children Check.
