Hardy Spicer / Daniel Engineering, a leading specialist in driveshaft solutions for the Australian industrial, agricultural, and automotive markets and is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Workshop Mechanic or Fitter to join our team in Unanderra, NSW.
This is a Permanent Fulltime opportunity for someone to join our small team, who is looking for work life balance, Stable employment and career progression as we provide on the job training by supportive and experienced staff.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Build and reconditioning driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.
- Machine of driveline components.
- Assemble, welding, and balancing of driveshafts.
- General workshop duties as required.
To be successful in this role you need:
- Well-developed fitting and machining skills obtained in a workshop environment.
- Have a sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
- Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment is essential .
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
- Proven safety and quality focus & perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
- A willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets.
