Boral is seeking a Technical & Quality Manager to lead our technical services function across NSW. This pivotal role is based at our North Ryde office and plays a key part in ensuring the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers.
About the Role
As the Technical & Quality Manager , you will be responsible for delivering industry-best technical support for our concrete operations, with a focus on innovative product design, quality assurance, and supporting complex project delivery. You’ll lead a dedicated technical team and work closely with our sales and production teams to maintain Boral’s reputation as a market leader in concrete solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to secure Boral’s involvement in major infrastructure projects.
- Lead product mix development and optimisation, acting as the SME for quality, to ensure consistent high-quality supply.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in concrete technology and applications.
- Represent Boral on relevant industry technical committees and promote our technical capabilities.
- Ensure effective resolution of customer quality issues and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage team performance, training, and development to build future capability.
- Analyse performance metrics and lead initiatives to improve departmental efficiency.
- Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and capital investment decisions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Significant experience in a senior technical or quality leadership role.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Material Science.
- Proven experience in the concrete or construction materials industry.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
