Reporting to the Internal Communications Lead, the Internal Communications Advisor will support the delivery of internal communications that align with St Vincent’s mission, vision, and strategy. This entry-level written communications role will assist with content creation, internal events, and channel coordination to help ensure employees are informed, engaged, and inspired. This is a developmental role, offering opportunities to grow communication skills in a supportive, mission-driven team.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position based in any of our Group Head Offices in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne on a hybrid working arrangement.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of communication plans and campaigns
- Draft content such as articles, event announcements, staff updates, and basic reports and support the creation of visual content (e.g., images or short videos)
- Help maintain the Enterprise Communications Calendar and ensure timelines are met
- Upload and update content across internal channels (intranet, staff email newsletters, Yammer or other social platforms) as directed
- Monitor engagement and help respond to employee questions/comments through internal channels
- Assist with organising and delivering internal events, including virtual town halls, staff briefings, and recognition initiatives
- Source and draft simple stories that showcase staff achievements and activities, with guidance
- Foster a positive and collaborative communication environment across the organisation
