We’re working with a national leader in electrical, mechanical, BMS, and fire services , delivering projects across commercial construction and facilities management . With continued growth and a diverse portfolio, they’re now looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join their Sydney team.
About the Role You’ll support a range of stakeholders across operations, projects, and corporate functions, providing practical HR advice and driving people strategies. From workforce planning and performance management to employee engagement and ER/IR matters, this is a broad and hands-on role with room to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to support recruitment, onboarding, performance, and workforce planning
- Provide advice on HR policies, employee relations, and disciplinary matters
- Contribute to investigations and case management (some ER/IR exposure preferred)
- Assist with change initiatives, engagement programs, and people projects
- Collaborate with a national HR team to ensure consistency and compliance
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Business Partner or Advisor role
- Confident in coaching managers and providing practical HR advice
- Exposure to ER/IR issues , including investigations and case handling
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, blue- and white-collar environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- $130–140k base + super
