Salary - $170k to $180k + Super
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Solutions Architect with Security experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, reliable, and scalable systems on the AWS cloud platform, working in alignment and directions from the organisation's Enterprise Architect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, infrastructure automation, and information security.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain system architecture designs and documentation, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Design and implement solutions on the AWS platform that are scalable, reliable, and secure, with a focus on infrastructure automation and integrating security into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Work with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with security in mind, and that best practices are followed.
• Develop and maintain security controls, including vulnerability management, access controls, and intrusion detection.
• Conduct security testing and assessments, including penetration testing, code reviews, and vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure that solutions are designed with operational excellence in mind, including monitoring, logging, and automation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams, and ensure that technical best practices are followed.
• Participate in incident response and lead investigations into security incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AWS solutions architecture, infrastructure automation, or information security.
• Strong experience in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Strong experience in infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong experience in information security, including vulnerability management, access controls, and intrusion detection.
• Strong experience in security testing and assessments, including penetration testing, code reviews, and vulnerability scanning.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and OWASP.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with development and security teams.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, and/or Azure Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
