Role Overview:As a Senior Consultant in the Occupational Hygiene and Hazardous Materials group for a big player in the industry, you will enhance the capabilities and reputation of my client’s Environmental consulting team. Your focus will be on occupational hygiene, hazardous materials management, and environmental health and safety risks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and sustainable solutions in occupational hygiene and hazardous materials management.
- Lead complex projects, ensuring comprehensive assessment and management of health risks.
- Provide high-level technical and strategic advice to clients, ensuring compliance and safety standards.
- Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, driving project delivery and business development.
- Oversee technical project delivery, managing occupational hygiene and HazMat risks.
- Lead project management, achieving desired outcomes for key clients and securing repeat business.
- Mentor and guide a team of professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Demonstrate leadership and decision-making skills to support team development.
- Maintain a track record of delivering comprehensive occupational hygiene and HazMat solutions.
- Interest in attaining professional certifications, such as Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) or equivalent.
- Licensed Asbestos Assessor or ability to obtain.
- Extensive experience in occupational hygiene and hazardous materials management, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Expertise in assessing and managing occupational health and safety risks, with proficiency in strategic solutions.
- Strong project management background with a history of leading projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly motivated and innovative approach, committed to excellence and best practices.
- Strong client relationship skills, with experience in client engagement and business development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
