Batch & DriveWe are looking to recruit an enthusiastic customer focused go-getter to join the Heidelberg Materials Australia team at our Corowa Concrete Plant. Located 45 minutes west of Albury.
The Concrete Batcher has excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the construction industry.
Along with batching, you will also have the opportunity to get in the truck to deliver our product to our customers. Valid HR licence is required.
In Your New Role With Us, You Will Be
Overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plantOperating a front-end loader (FEL)Regularly interacting with customers, taking orders & scheduling deliveriesWorking in a high performing team, collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes for Heidelberg Materials Australia and the customerAble to demonstrate safety and show leadership potentialEnsure all products adhere to strict quality requirementsMonitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as requiredManaging maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handlingDelivering concrete to customers (HR license required)

Are an effective communicator, have a team mentality and ability to work unsupervisedSeek a flexible roster that includes Saturday work and overtimeHold a Heavy Rigid (HR) licenseExperience on a front end loaderAre looking to obtain Construction Card / White CardAre able to operate with and support our Zero Harm safety policyCan physically perform all tasks associated with the position
