Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
Your role:
As an MRD Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of MRD analysts and delivering maintenance program development, review, and support in line with DASR M Continuing Airworthiness Management Services (CAMS).
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the MRD team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs within required timeframes.
• Manage the development and upkeep of the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) within the Logistic Support Analysis Record and CAMM2 systems.

• Exercise professional engineering judgment in support of complex decision-making and program objectives.
• Contribute to policy coordination relating to CAMO outputs affecting AMP data.
• Provide input to the management of fleet configuration, technical publications, and operational documentation.
• Lead and support CAMS-related communications with stakeholders across engineering and maintenance functions.
• Monitor regulatory compliance, particularly in relation to DASR and NGA policies and procedures.
• Foster continuous improvement initiatives within the MRD function.
• Mentor and support technical personnel across the E&TS capability.
About you:
Essential:
• Trade-qualified Aircraft Engineer in Mechanical, Structures or Avionics disciplines (Defence)
• Minimum of three years’ experience in the aviation industry as a Trade-qualified Aircraft Engineer
• Demonstrated experience within the aviation industry or direct involvement in managing an Aircraft Maintenance Program
• Capability to attain or maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
Desirable:
• Chartered status through Engineers Australia
• Ability to obtain Engineering Authority
• Experience in configuration management, airworthiness regulation, and certification processes
• Previous experience working with AMP management tools and CAMM2
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and coaching technical personnel
