About the Role
We’re seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our Hemmant Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 6am – 2.30pm. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Working under the supervision of qualified Electricians to complete routine maintenance tasks.
- Attending TAFE and completing coursework to complete your apprenticeship.
- Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
What You’ll Bring
- Ideally looking for apprentices in their 2nd or 3rd year, or 1st years nearly completed.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments a bonus.
- Mechanically minded and interested in hands-on tasks.
- Passion for your trade and willingness to learn.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
