We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer with a background in building construction and/Or rail infrastructure to join our team delivering multiple projects across QLD.
- Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, taking prompt corrective action where required
- Reviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis
- Effectively assigning tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications
- Monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against programme and budget as well as undertaking other administrative duties as required
- Mentoring Project, Site and Graduate Engineers
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction, preferably in infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing small/medium-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders for project approvals and permits .
