About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team based at Meteor Downs South Mine located near Rolleston. The position will be focussing on maintenance, ancillary equipment and site infrastructure. Our preferred candidate will focus on supporting the business in achieving our production objectives and maintaining an excellent family-friendly culture.
About You
You will be a team player who prioritises safety, while understanding your role and how you impact upon the achievement of team objectives. You will be able to prioritise tasks and work without supervision if required and maintain compliance with site policies and procedures at all times.
You will maintain the following skills, abilities and attributes:
- Proven experience in an open-cut mine site is ideal.
- Australian recognised Trade qualification – Electrician.
- Current Queensland Electrical Works Licence.
- Current HV Switching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in mine site maintenance on MT4400, ancillary equipment and site infrastructure.
- Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Enthusiasm to positively influence on-site culture and a drive to work as a team to achieve goals and objectives.
