About The Role
This role supports the delivery of the maintenance section’s objectives through providing supervision and technical advice to operational staff during irrigation maintenance activities. The role will provide field supervision for the delivery of weekly and daily works schedules across multiple maintenance works programs, encompassing management of service quality, technical compliance, worksite safety and delivery against schedules.
This role provides technical advice to operational staff on the practical completion of maintenance activities and works closely with the Team Leaders and technical specialists to identify resource capability and capacity needs in line with operational requirements and future objectives.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
Mandatory
Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with experience supervising field based or operational staff and providing technical advice and support in irrigation maintenance delivery related fields. Certificate III in Irrigation or significant experience in managing on-ground operational crews in the delivery of allocated irrigation work activities. Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD) Current Manual “C” class driver’s licence.
Desirable
A high level of oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively and professionally engage with and influence others. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop and maintain both internal and external work relationships. Sound problem solving skills with the ability to achieve creative, effective and efficient solutions to challenges and changes. Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) certified under the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (Part 3 2016), or willingness to obtain. First Aid/CPR/Emergency Life Support Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
