Job Description
About the Role
As a Line Chef, you will assist the kitchen team in bulk preparation and cooking for various meals and functions at the village during your swing. This DIDO position requires travel to Coppabella, Dysart, Moranbah or Middlemount. Permanent positions are available in each village, and we offer a free bus service to and from Mackay if preferred. You will work 10.5-hour days, taking pride in providing excellent service to our guests. Our villages range from 150 to 3000 people, and your passion and experience in bulk cooking will be highly valued.

About You
To be successful, you will have:A minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent)Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchensCompetence in bulk/batch cooking across all service offeringsDemonstrated experience working successfully in a teamFlexibility to workday and/or night shifts as requiredAbility to pass a pre-employment medical, including alcohol and drug screeningA National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain oneExceptional communication skillsExcellent time management skillsRemote work experience (highly regarded)Great team player with the ability to adapt and work well under pressureCurrent Driver’s License
