OUR STORY
The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory - an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

THE ROLE
CD023 - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - PROJECT OFFICER
CL 6 (Commencing at $87,077 progressing to $100,027).
FULL TIME ONGOING - ALICE SPRINGS.
Community Development (CD) Officers work alongside traditional owners and residents of communities applying CD principles, processes and methodologies - guided by the CLC CD framework - to achieve collective social, cultural and economic outcomes with their own income .
This CD Officer position will work directly with Granites Mine Affected Area Aboriginal Corporation ( GMAAAC ) Community Committees to support elected committee members to plan community projects for all-of-community benefit.
