About the role
We are looking for a fixed-term Senior Advisor Remuneration based in Perth through to the end of 2025, with the potential to extend. This role reports to the Manager Remuneration Strategy and Solutions and will support the Iron Ore product group.
As the Principal Advisor Remuneration, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our remuneration strategy. You will provide expert advice on remuneration programs across multiple countries in the APAC region, ensuring our practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our organisational goals.
Reporting to the Manager, Remuneration Strategy and Solutions APAC, your key responsibilities will be:

Supporting the development and implementation of remuneration strategies that align with industry standards and company objectives.

Conducting comprehensive market analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.

Advising on industrial relations matters, including negotiations and compliance with relevant legislation.

Partnering with the Iron Ore HR team to support Remuneration related queries.

Collaborating with HR and management teams to design and manage incentive programs.

Providing expert guidance on remuneration policies and practices.
-
Monitoring and reporting on remuneration trends and their impact on the organisation.

Providing technical guidance and advice to various stakeholder groups and employees within the business.

Supporting the annual global benchmarking process in partnership with other regions, with a specific focus on operational roles and allowance structures.

Supporting the business through guidance and advice against key remuneration policies, ensure governance and understanding across the business.

Working as part of a integrated HR team and collaborate effectively to ensure we achieve the best business outcomes.

Establishing and maintain key network of contacts to facilitate the exchange of remuneration information.
What you’ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

Experience in remuneration and/or performance related discipline within the mining or construction industry including practical experience of benchmarking, job evaluation, career frameworks and incentive design.

Demonstrated experience in a HR role that requires flexibility, enthusiasm, pragmatism and resilience.

Strong understanding of market trends within Australia.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data.

Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.

Confidence and ability to partner and influence stakeholders at all levels internal and external to the business.

Experience working with varied remuneration packages, including roster-based allowances and different structures.

Demonstrated experience in delivering projects for senior stakeholders, clients, business leaders, others parts of the HR structure

HRIS experience, including experience with web-enabled performance management tools and/or platforms
