Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic – $80–$85/hr | 8/6 FIFO Roster | BHP South FlankAre you an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic looking for a long-term opportunity with a leading company in the mining and construction industry?
We’re currently seeking skilled and safety-conscious HD Diesel Mechanics to join our growing team on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster at BHP’s South Flank site .
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a premier company that’s been supporting Western Australia’s biggest mining and civil operators for over 20 years , including BHP, Rio Tinto, Fortescue , and more.

As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, and servicing of a wide range of mobile plant equipment including excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and more .
You'll play a key role in keeping machines running safely and efficiently in a high-performing team environment.
To Be Successful, You’ll Need:
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
- Proven experience working on CAT and Liebherr mobile plant equipment
- Solid diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Reliability and a proactive work attitude
- Valid tickets and licences including:
- Working at Heights
- Confined Spaces
- Gas Testing
- Basic Fire Attack
