Description:
Our client who is highly regarded in the construction industry has recently been awarded another high end construction project at the ECU campus and is looking to appoint another Procurement and Logistics Coordinator.You will be working in our clients' Osborne Park office for approximately 3-4 months with a possibility of extension.
Note this role requires someone with a strong background in logistics as the majority of the work will involves organising deliveries and pickups around Perth and being able to determan load times etc .
Details of The Role:
- Strong experience in logistics. You will be responsible for organising several deliveries around Perth for our client (steel, glass and consumables required for project at ECU in Nortbridge)
- Proven expertise in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, cost analysis, and risk assessment.
- Adept at maintaining supplier relationships, overseeing logistics operations, and managing procurement systems.
- Strong background in controlling budgets, ensuring compliance with specifications, and driving continuous process improvement.
- Committed to accurate inventory management, timely delivery coordination, and promoting long-term savings across procurement and logistics functions.
- Strong background in logistics around the Perth area
