Client Details
We are seeking a full-time permanent Customer Service Representative for our client, a manufacturer of hose products used in industrial, commercial and firefighting. You will be responsible for overseeing customer service and logistics.
Description
The key responsibilities and duties of the role:
Customer Service:
* Respond to customer inquiries, including providing pricing and detailed quotes, updating on stock availability, and specifying lead times.
* Follow up promptly on customer inquiries.
* Process customer orders efficiently.
* Ensure timely payment from customers through follow-up communications.
* Generate invoices and packing lists, and notify customers of shipment details.
* Coordinate effectively with customers to facilitate smooth delivery processes.
* Support in organising participation in exhibitions and marketing events.
* Register new customers in the system.
Logistics:
* Coordinate with the warehouse to maintain adequate stock levels.
* Work with customers to arrange goods collection, issue invoices and packing lists, and collaborate with freight forwarders for collection.
* Collaborate with freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery, prevent delays, and promptly collect empty containers.
* Place purchase orders with the head office and third-party suppliers, and manage incoming shipments.
* Assist in conducting physical inventory checks in June and December.
* Other ad-hoc tasks
Profile
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
- Experience in Customer Service role (B to B)
- Able to commute to the office in Blacktown every day
- Excellent communication and organisational skill
- Ability to work within a team and flexibility to take on various duties.
You must have a Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
