Your Impact
In this vital role, you will be a key part of the team supporting patients, families, and staff within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As the first point of contact on the ward, your friendly and professional presence will help create a calm and welcoming environment during what is often a challenging time for patients and their loved ones.
You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Clinical Support Officer (CSO) of the ICU to provide friendly and professional customer service to families, carers, and patients. You will manage reception duties and maintain systems to ensure accurate and timely data entry—helping things run smoothly behind the scenes so our clinical teams can focus on care.
Other responsibilities include managing incoming calls and general enquiries, monitoring audits, coordinating supply orders, and ensuring the integrity of data.
