We are seeking experienced and passionate Disability Support Workers with excellent availability to join our dedicated team in Norman Gardens. If you have a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
Work 1 on 1 with a client providing In Home Support for daily routine. Client requires manual handling with use of hoist and a lot of personal care involving getting out of bed, showered and catheter care management. Day shifts work only, with early morning and late afternoon hours available. Permanent Part time 40 per fortnight. Qualification is desirable. Ideal experience within Nursing AIN or aged care is desired.
What We Look For:
- Preferred but not essential: Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
- Experience and empathy in providing high-quality support and fostering independence for clients.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks & Use of Hoists
- Good computer skills and experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Required Clearances:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card).
- First Aid and CPR certification & Open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance.
- National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work).
