About the opportunity:

You will lead the management and provision of expert advice on complex industrial and employment matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and resolving complex claims and complaints.
- Undertaking investigations and developing strategic solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with legislative and reporting obligations.
- Preparing written correspondence and liaising with external bodies.
- Representing the department on enterprise bargaining processes.
- Offering industrial relations advocacy services, including tribunal appearances.

Remuneration / Classification:
Employment may be offered at either the ASO8 ($121,107 – $125,679 p.a.) or ASO7 ($108,109 - $116,864 p.a.) subject to skills, ability and experience of the successful candidate. Plus, 11.5 % superannuation in addition to salary will be paid (superannuation to increase to 12% from 1 July 2025)
