Description:
Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training services.
Programmed Skilled Workforce is looking for candidates interested in working as vegetation field workers, with our vegetation and weed control contractor based on a local mine sites in the Gunnedah basin.
About the Role:
- Monday to Friday roster - 10hr day shifts, 7am to 5pm
- Planting of trees and tube stock for mine site rehabilitation
- Monitoring tree health, identify pests, diseases, and watering duties as required
- Assistance with weed and pest control tasks as required
- Working outdoors in the elements
- Physical work involving manual handling, walking long distances, lifting and duties of a repetitive nature
About you:
- Hold a current drivers license and reliable transport
- Safe and productive work ethic
- Are physically fit and capable of undertaking manual labour
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to supply current work related referees in a supervisory role
- Be able to pass a pre-employment NSW Order 43 medical and drug & alcohol test
- Be able to complete online inductions
