Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)
Be a Social Butterfly – Help clients spread their wings and connect with their community. Teach & Learn – Support clients as they level up their life skills (bonus: you might learn a few too!). Drive the Fun – Take clients to programs and activities in Sunnyfield’s vans. Keep It Snappy – Write progress notes that are clear, concise, and fabulous. Be the Team MVP – Collaborate with families and adapt to behaviour support strategies like a champ.
What You Bring to the Party
✔ A heart three sizes too big (not medically, just metaphorically). ✔ Experience in the disability sector (and if you’ve got behaviour support knowledge—extra kudos!). ✔ Willingness to assist with personal care when needed. ✔ Resilience, empathy, and a ‘let’s do this!’ attitude . ✔ A driver’s licence and reliable transport. ✔ Hoist & manual handling skills – because sometimes a little extra support goes a long way. ✔ Nursing background (not required, but definitely a plus!). ✔ Early bird or night owl? We need folks available for morning shifts (6:30 AM starts) and afternoon shifts (6:30 PM finishes).
