We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic Technology Operations team. About the Opportunity
The Java Developer will assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing migrated mainframe code and related integrations. This role requires a foundational understanding of Java programming and a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to gain experience in procedural Java and Spring Boot Java, as well as complex mainframe systems.
- Software Development: : Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions, including migrated mainframe code and integrations written in procedural Java and utilizing AWS Services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers, QA, operations, and business stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Learning and Development: Actively participate in training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Code Quality: Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code through adherence to coding standards and best practices.
About you
The skills and experience required in the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of Java programming and related technologies.
- Willingness to Learn : Strong desire to learn and develop skills in procedural Java
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems effectively, with guidance from senior team members.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
