About the role

Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A – I&O and Group Services, this impactful position calls for a true business partner and problem solver. You'll be at the heart of supporting the Finance team and the wider business as they navigate the exciting integration of the TPG Network.

As Vocus doubles its Network size, this role will place you in a pivotal position, offering you the chance to make a substantial impact. What you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Forecasting and Reporting : Build and maintain robust forecast and monthly reporting models for the TPG Business.
  • Integration Support: Support the integration of the TPG financial operations into Vocus and ensure the IMO workstreams are managed within budget, overseeing one direct report.
  • Finance SME and Business Partner: Act as the Finance SME for Integration, partnering with the IMO, Finance Team, and wider business to align with IMO and MergeCo strategy.
  • Risk Management and Process Improvement: Manage risks and opportunities, appraise their impact, and seek improvements in the FP&A process to create efficiencies or enhance deliverables.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Partnering: Handle budgeting and forecasting, including rolling 12-month and formal forecasts, assist in developing 5-year strategic plans, and serve as a business partner to GMs within the business.

What you’ll bring to this role

  • Experience and Qualifications: 10 years of experience with a Chartered accounting background from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, holding CA/CPA qualifications.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to communicate and present to diverse stakeholders, including regional operations and national management roles, with strong communication skills.
  • Organisational and Management Skills: Strong organisational, time, and project management skills, with the ability to evaluate and prioritise key tasks and manage multiple/conflicting deadlines flexibly.
  • Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Advanced financial modelling skills, leveraging technology to enhance model robustness and user experience, along with strong accounting and commercial business skills, and a thorough understanding of the annual planning and quarterly re-forecasting cycle.
  • Attention to Detail and Technical Expertise: High attention to detail and accuracy, advanced MS skills (Excel/PowerPoint), and experience with Adaptive Insights is advantageous.
