About the role
Join us at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, as a Clinical Research Associate, and you will be involved in effective site management across a number of studies, across all aspects of the study from site selection and start-up, recruitment, initiation, monitoring, and closure. You will have the opportunity to embrace new challenges and advance your career as our Clinical Operations team continues to expand.

This role is a full time, permanent position to be based from Perth, Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline, preferably in life science, or equivalent qualification

  • Experience at the CRA level with strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and local regulations

  • Sound medical knowledge and ability to learn relevant Therapeutic Areas.

  • Strong understanding of clinical study management including risk-based monitoring , study drug handling and data management.

  • Analytical, solutions-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines

  • Proven experience communicating effectively with site staff and internal stakeholders

  • Ability to work in a fun, collaborative team environment with an agile mindset, driving continuous improvement.

  • Willingness to travel
