Description

The role
We are seeking an energetic and client-focused Legal Assistant to join our friendly Wills and Estates team. This is an exciting role working in a collegiate, dynamic and fast paced team supporting lawyers.
Our team includes lawyers who specialise in all aspects of estate planning (including Will and powers of attorney) so knowledge or experience in these areas and/or in broader client services roles will be valued.

The role requires a mix of legal administration skills and PA capability. Key responsibilities will include:

• Support our clients with your strong customer service and communication skills.
• Responding to client enquiries via email and phone Assisting with drafting and preparing correspondence, documents, presentations, and bills
• Arranging and manage calendar appointments with our people and clients
• Assisting with managing work allocation, helping the team track and achieve their goals
• Supporting our team with other admin tasks that come across your desk
• File correspondence and documents


Skills And Experiences

What we’re looking for in you
Our ideal candidate is an excellent organiser and communicator, with at least one year experience as an Administration/Personal Assistant or Legal Assistant in a professional service or legal environment. You have already proven yourself to be a strong team player, confident to embrace technology, proactive and client focused. You work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

You will have strong client service skills and be able to build and maintain effective relationships by developing an understanding of our clients and their business. You will genuinely care about and want to help people.

A thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 suite is essential, and knowledge of iManage, and legal practice management systems is welcomed.
